My Hidden Structure as A Peaceful Body Teacher

My Hidden Structure as A Peaceful Body Teacher
A playful, serious weaving
of story, metaphor, and life experience
with anatomical know-how and tactual wisdom,
founded upon a working understanding of peaceful body principles.
An ability to sensitively apply the above
to activities and situations of significance to a student’s life,
bringing to the fore
reasoning capacities, improvisational skills, intuitive insights, and nurturing powers
toward the comprehension of function, beauty, and meaning
inherent within the unspoken language of the human body
all the while remaining present, poignantly aware, of the uniqueness of each person
and every meeting.

I love this so much, Bruce!!
Thanks. I wrote it about a million years ago but i think it still rings true as to my way of teaching.
Bruce, this is so you!! Plus a sense of beginner’s mind, that somehow you still have. I am so grateful to have had you in my life.
Kit. You are so kind and supportive. It comes at a time in my life when such words help me very much. I wrote that piece about 15 or so years ago, something like that. But i thought it might still be helpful to newer teachers. Thanks for being in my life and for doing what you do. bruce
