Working With Minori Hayakari in Kyoto

Notice how loose and flexible Minori’s ankles are as she jogs.  You can see a light, effortless spring in her step. Her back is wide, elbows organized with her back, hands and wrists natural, head tilting and relaxing slightly forward from the top of her spine, eyelids gently lowered, softly smiling, a sense of quiet strength and pleasure runs through her whole body and being.

And it even gets better when she’s running full out.

I am learning a lot from her.

Meeting and watching her team was also a great pleasure.

She continues to ask me to work with her.  It’s a privilege.  Then again, it’s a privilege to work with all my students.  Anyone who wants to look at themselves, and learn and improve, is a champion.
